Troubleshooting Steps
First, identify your registration method. Recall if you signed up using an email, or a linked third-party account (Google, Facebook, Twitter, Apple). Check your email inboxes for HoYoverse registration emails or payment receipts.
- Please note the following distinctions:
- Google Third-Party Login is not the same as logging in with a Google email address unless you have manually linked both to the same HoYoverse Account.
- Accounts linked via Game Center can only be accessed on iOS devices.
- Accounts linked via Apple can be accessed on iOS devices or on the HoYoverse Account Center.
- Accounts linked via Google Third-Party Login can be accessed on Android devices or on the HoYoverse Account Center.
- Next, use the self-service account recovery. Open the game or visit the HoYoverse Account Center
- Select the Having Problems, Forgot Password, or FAQ option.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to enter possible registered emails or user IDs.
- Check all linked email accounts (including spam folders) for recovery instructions.
- If you recover access, immediately update your security settings for future protection.
Tips
- Link your HoYoverse Account to multiple log-in options (email, phone, social media).
- Keep a record of your registered email or log-in providers.
- Enable additional security features, such as two-factor authentication, if available.
