If you are experiencing issues with the HoYoPlay launcher, please find your situation below and follow the corresponding steps.
The game does not launch
This can occur if you are unable to launch the game using HoYoPlay or its desktop shortcut.
- In the Windows search bar, search for and open Region settings.
- Select Additional date, time, & regional settings.
- Under the Region section, click Change date, time, or number formats.
- Navigate to the Administrative tab and select Change system locale.
- Check the box for Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support.
- Click OK and restart your computer to apply the changes.
The launcher is slow or unresponsive
- Check your device's disk capacity and ensure there is sufficient free space.
- Close any unnecessary background applications or processes.
The launcher shows an "Insufficient Disk Space" error with "-0.00 KB" available
If you see the error message "Insufficient disk space. Please clean up the disk or switch to another installation directory", please use our repair tool.

- Follow the instructions in the .txt file included in the installation package to use the tool.
An "Application error" appears when opening the launcher
This error can occur if your graphics driver is outdated. Please update your computer's graphics driver to the latest version.
