Troubleshooting Steps
Error Code 9908: Failed to Download Resource Files / Network Error
This error indicates a problem downloading game files due to network issues or corrupted data.
- Check your network by switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data, or restarting your router.
- PC: In the launcher, click the button beside 'Start Game' → Repair Now. If unresolved, fully reinstall the game.
- Android/iOS: fully reinstall the game.
Error Code 4214: Unable to Connect to Server
This error indicates a specific connection failure from your device.
- For Wi-Fi: Restart your router. If that fails, consider a factory reset of the router and update the router's system to the latest.
- For Mobile Data: Toggle airplane mode on and off, or restart your device.
Error Codes 1, 4, 1114: Game Launch Issues on PC
These errors suggest the client component is running abnormally.
- Disable any antivirus software on your PC, or try to use your default tool from your Windows system to repair the system.
- If the issue persists, fully reinstall your Windows system according to your device's hardware.
Error Code 9001: Download Failure on PC
This error occurs during the download process via the launcher.
- Close the Launcher and run the .exe file linked below: https://autopatchhk.yuanshen.com/client_app/download/launcher/20240801192203_HByKmIFbVUJ1aG1u/hk4eos_launcher_status_repair.exe
- Once it has finished running, please reopen the launcher and see if the issue is solved.
If the issue persists,
- For Epic Games Launcher: Press Windows + R, enter %appdata%\Cognosphere\HYP\standalone\1_3\hk4e_global\8fANlj5K7I, delete all files in that folder, and restart the launcher.

For Official Launcher: contact Customer Service
Error Code (1,107,126): mhypbase.dll error
This indicates a required file is missing or has been quarantined by antivirus software.
- Use the Repair Now option in the HoYoPlay launcher.
- Check your antivirus quarantine for mhypbase.dll. If found, restore the file and add it to your antivirus whitelist.

Error Code 9041: Download Failure
This error indicates an interruption during the download process.
- Disable any VPN, proxy, or network acceleration tools.
- Run the launcher’s repair or file integrity verification function.
- Restart the launcher and retry the download.
Error Code 6001: Network Connection Problem on PC
This error is related to your local network setup interfering with the game's connection.
- Disable any active VPN or proxy.

Error Code 10251-4001: Client Component Error on PC
This error suggests a problem with the game client's components.
- Disable your antivirus software
