What should I do if the HoYoPlay launcher cannot locate my installed game?

If the HoYoPlay launcher is not detecting your game, please try the following solutions.

Manually Locate the Game

  1. On the game's page, click the Find Game option, which is usually located near the download button.
  2. A file explorer window will appear. Navigate to and select the game's main installation folder (the one containing the .exe file).
  3. Click Select Folder or Open.
  4. The launcher will then recognize the game files, and the button will change to Launch or Update.

Use the Official Repair Tool

  1. Download the tool from the official source: https://hoyo.link/8o1lFBAL
  2. Run the tool and follow its prompts.
  3. Direct the tool to your game's installation folder.
  4. If prompted, select the installation folder for the HoYoPlay launcher.
  5. Start the repair and wait for a confirmation message, such as "Repair check completed".
  6. Close the tool and relaunch HoYoPlay. The game should now be located. If not, try manually locating the game again.
